I am delighted to announce that “The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There” audiobook for the X-Files anthology containing my story, “Snowman”, has won the 2016 VoiceArts Award for Audiobook Narration – Short Story Anthology, Best Narrator. Voice artists Bronson Pinchot and Hillary Huber are the readers for the stories (Pinchot read mine, which was a real thrill for me!).
This is the first time one of my stories has been narrated, so it was a little weird to hear someone else’s voice telling the story. But Pinchot caught Mulder’s deadpan tone very well, I thought. If you’ve been putting off reading these X-Files tales, these short stories are the perfect length to listen to while commuting or standing in line at the coffee bar!
