Touched by a Time Traveller Journeyman “Friendly Skies” NBC, Mondays, 8/7 e/c Written by Kevin Falls Directed by Alex Graves Journeyman’s sophomore episode improves some on last week’s pilot, but is still stumbling dangerously close to soap-opera territory. In “Friendly Skies”, Dan Vasser (Kevin McKidd) gets yanked backwards into several times, to deliver a baby girl, connect with her mother, connect daughter to father, and finally bring father, grown daughter, and a stranger together. Is he there to deliver the baby? Or is he there to support the mother in some task? No, wait, he’s there to let the baby’s father…

Journeyman Mondays on NBC “Pilot” Written by Kevin Falls Directed by Alex Graves Reviewed by Sarah Stegall If this is 1987, it must be San Francisco. The premise of “Journeyman”, NBC’s new Monday night series, is pretty much the same as “Quantum Leap”, “Early Edition” and “Sliders”–a nice guy is jerked willy-nilly back and forth in time, apparently on some mission he has to puzzle out, that ultimately has him saving the world. Or at least one guy’s life. Yeah, we’ve seen all this before. But that’s all right–I liked “Quantum Leap” and “Sliders”, and don’t mind revisiting this always-interesting…
