If you’re going to the World Fantasy Convention in Oakland this weekend, let me invite you to my panel, Wanted Dead or Undead. Join me, K. C. Grifant, Raymond K. Rugg, Mark Williams, and moderator Rick Klaw for a lively discussion about the ways the Weird West genre debunks the mythos of the American Frontier and how diverse perspectives deepen the breadth of storytelling available.
When: Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM Pacific time
Where: Marriott Center, Oakland, California, Room 203
And of course, if you need some reading material, you can lasso my collection of Weird West stories, Cowboy Witches.
See you there, buckaroos!
