Haven

Haven

This show started out slow, even lame, but built to a fascinating puzzle show at the end of its first short season. Based on the novel “The Colorado Kid” by Stephen King, it bears little relation to that narrative other than the title and setting. FBI Agent Audrey Parker comes to the small Maine town of Haven to investigate some mysterious events, and partners up with local police detective Nathan Wournos. Over the course of the series, we learn that both Nathan and Audrey have some pretty strange talents. The show has been renewed for summer 2011; I’ll be there.
