Lost Girl
I’m very interested in this series, a Canadian venture that incorporates the ancient European myths about fairies, or “fae”, into modern life. We’ve had vampires, werewolves, ghosts and zombies on TV lately. Why not a few fairies? Be prepared, however. There’s damn little of Tinkerbell in this adults-only version of the mythology. The Syfy Channel has begun airing episodes that have already aired in Canada, but I’ll try to keep spoilers to a minimum.
SEASON ONE
It’s a Fae, Fae, Fae, Fae World – Bo, a stunningly beautiful brunette, has never understood either her hunger or the powers she has — one kiss can kill a man with bliss.
